I am Miguel Curiel, founder, and owner of La Chula Mexi-Can Kitchen. I started this business with my wife Ana to bring Mexican flavors to Canada. I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. One of the most iconic and cosmopolitan cities in Mexico, home of “Mariachi” and “Tequila.” I moved from Mexico in April 2008 to beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Since then, I’ve been working at different restaurants around the Lower Mainland. I became a recipe developer from the need to adapt Mexican food to Canada. Now, I want to share my passion for Mexican-inspired food through my line of seasonings and rubs to create a one-of-a-kind Mexi-Can (Mexican-Canadian) experience.
